2009年9月10日新领军者年会再次在中国大连绽放出令人瞩目的绚丽光彩。
1600多位国内外政要、学者、商界和媒体领袖聚首大连，
在平等、友好、和谐的氛围中共同把脉全球经济，探索复兴之路。  
在国际金融危机爆发一周年之际，夏季达沃斯论坛以“重振增长”为主题，对“后危机时代”全球经济复苏进行探讨；
围绕新型商业模式、绿色经济中的机遇、亚洲发展模式、以科技进步推动经济增长、
以创新满足社会需求等五大议题展开了讨论。   
与会嘉宾普遍认为，国际金融危机对世界经济的影响深远，世界经济复苏之路并不明朗，
应对国际金融危机将是一项长期艰巨的任务，
但同时他们对未来全球经济增长表示期待和乐观，
认为在当前形势下，世界经济增长应改变旧的发展模式，世界各国应鼓励创新，重建信心。   
世界各界精英在智慧碰撞中捕捉灵感，在思想交流中形成共识，本届年会是达沃斯历史上具有里程碑意义的盛会，
坚定了国际社会战胜国际金融危机的信心，对推进世界经济复苏和增长将会产生重大深远影响。  

The Summer Davos forum, or the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2009, 
has been held in northeast China’s coastal city of Dalian on 10th  September , 
2009. This is the second time Dalian hosts this world economic forum. 
It attracts more than 1,600 participants from China and abroad, including senior officials , scholars , 
business elites and media representatives, 
who are to discuss topics about the current condition of world economy 
and the way to recovery in a peaceful, friendly and harmonious environment.  
The crisis has broken out a year, 
so the theme of the forum is about Relaunching Growth amid the global economic downturn 
and explorating the way to recovery in postcrisis era. 
Discussions at the summit will focus on five aspects opportunities in a green economy, 
driving economic growth through science and technology, addressing societal needs through innovation, 
new business models in a developing world and rethinking Asia’s development model.  
The participants have had a general idea: the international financial crisis has inflicted farreaching 
impact on the world economy. To counter the global financial crisis is a longterm and arduous task. 
However , participants showed optimism about the world economy. 
Many agreed the world should strive for a sustained economic growth via such means 
as speeding up changing the pattern of economic growth. 
Every country should encourage innovation and rebuild their confidence.  
The participants conducted indepth discussions and exchanges,  
which makes the 2009 Summer Davos be a milestone in history. 
It will help boost the confidence of the international community in fighting the ongoing global 
economic downturn and give a strong push to the world economy’s revival. 
However thanks to the concerted efforts, increased cooperation, 
and active measures of the entire international community, 
some positive changes have taken place. 
The world economy is beginning to recover, 
although the process is slow and tortuous. People have seen the light of dawn on the horizon.
